Terms of Service

By using Mima, you agree to these terms. Here's the short version, written like a human wrote it.

1. You Must Be 13+

Mima is intended for users 13 years or older. If you're under 18, please make sure your parents know you're using Mima.

2. For Entertainment Only

You acknowledge that Mima is for entertainment and personal reflection. See our Disclaimer for the details. Do not make medical, legal, financial, or major life decisions based on Mima readings.

3. Your Data Belongs to You

You retain ownership of any birth information or personal data you provide. We use it only to generate your readings. See our Privacy Policy for details.

4. Free and Paid Features

Mima currently offers:

  • Free tier: Basic chart, daily vibes, limited compatibility checks
  • Mima Plus (coming soon): Unlimited features, deep monthly reports, AI chat

Subscription prices, if charged, will be clearly disclosed before any payment. Cancel anytime through your account settings.

5. Content Generated For You

Readings generated for your personal chart are for your personal use. You're welcome to:

  • ✅ Screenshot and share readings with friends
  • ✅ Post readings on social media (tag us if you do! @ezmima)
  • ✅ Save readings for personal reference

Please don't:

  • ❌ Resell or commercialize Mima output
  • ❌ Use Mima content to train competing AI models
  • ❌ Pass Mima readings off as your own original work for monetary gain

6. AI Output Limitations

We use AI to generate personalized interpretations. We don't guarantee accuracy or appropriateness in every case. If you see output that's offensive, inaccurate, or culturally insensitive, please tell us at hello@ezmima.com and we'll work on it.

7. Acceptable Use

Don't use Mima to:

  • Harass, stalk, or invade the privacy of others (including running charts on people without their knowledge for malicious purposes)
  • Reverse-engineer our AI systems or scrape our content at scale
  • Spread Mima output as professional advice
  • Anything illegal where you live

We can suspend accounts that violate these rules.

8. We Can Change This

The world (and the law) changes. We may update these terms. We'll try to notify you of material changes via email or an in-app banner. Continued use means acceptance.

9. No Warranties; Limitation of Liability

Mima is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damages arising from your use of Mima. (See: the disclaimer above. Repeatedly.)

10. Governing Law

Mima's infrastructure (servers, database, hosting) is located in the United States, primarily California. Our team operates from multiple locations globally.

For users in:

  • The United States: Disputes will be governed by California law.
  • The European Union: GDPR applies, and disputes may be brought in your country of residence.
  • Other jurisdictions: Your local consumer protection laws apply where they provide greater protection than US law.

We will always try to resolve disputes informally first. Please email hello@ezmima.com before pursuing legal action.
